Father of Glory

The God of our Lord Jesus Christ,
THE FATHER OF GLORY,
may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation
resulting in knowledge of Him.
Ephesians 1:17

"My Father is working still, and I am working." - John 5:17

"If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father" (Jn. 10:37-38).

"No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day (Jn. 6:44). All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away" (Jn. 6:37). Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me, has eternal life; he does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life" (Jn. 5:24).

"The Father loves the Son, and shows him all that he himself is doing; and greater works than these will he show him, that you may marvel (Jn, 5:19).For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will (Jn. 5:21). Truly, truly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live" (Jn. 5:25).

"The Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself, and has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of man (Jn. 5:26-27).The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father" (Jn. 5:22-23).

THE SON

"The Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing; for whatever he does, that the Son does likewise (Jn. 5:19). I can do nothing on my own authority; as I hear, I judge; and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me" (Jn. 5:30). He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him" (Jn. 5:23).

"Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice and come forth, those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment" (Jn. 5:28-29).
