"Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."
John 2:19
Jesus spoke of the temple of His body (Jn 2:21). When therefore He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this; and they believed the scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken (Jn 2:22).
No other foundation can any one lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ (1 Cor 3:11). Let each man take care how he builds upon it (1 Cor 3:10).
Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If any one destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and that temple you are (1 Cor 3:16-17).
